Chandrababu Naidu to embark on two-day East Godavari tour from August 31

Kakinada: Elaborate arrangements are being   made for the two-day visit of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on August 31 and September 1 to East Godavari district.

According to official sources, the Chief Minsiter will attend Grama Darsini programme at Mallavaram village in Gokhavaram mandal on August 31. Later, he will conduct aerial survey of Yeleru reservoir. He then dedicate second phase of Purusottapatnam Lift Irrigation scheme at Mallavaram village in Jaggampeta mandal to nation.

The Chief Minister will also inaugurate Model Degree Collage at Jaggampeta and address a public meeting. He will make night halt at Kakinada.
On September 1, Naidu will lay foundation stone to ADB road works and second bridge on salt creek in Kakinada  city, and lay foundation stone at Raja Tank for developmental works.

Later in the day, the Chief Minister will address a public meeting at Aanada Bharati grounds. He will also participate in the inauguration of new SP office complex the same day. In this connection, district collector Karthikeya Mishra reviewed the arrangements for the tour with officers concerned at his camp office on Sunday. 

The collector  directed them to make necessary arrangements for Grama Darsini, distribution of assets to beneficiaries at the same place and organising stalls at the venue of public meet. Sub-collector Saikanth Varna, Rajamahendravaram in-charge district revenue officer M Jyoti and others participated in the review meeting.
