Focus on personality development, SVIMS medicos advised
Tirupati: SVIMS Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (SPMC-W) has organised an orientation programme for 5th batch of MBBS medical students here on Monday. The newly admitted students along with their parents participated in the programme.
Addressing the students, the Director cum Vice-Chancellor of SVIMS Dr TS Ravikumar has congratulated them for their hard work which resulted in securing medical seats and they should continue the same spirit during their course.
He said that the SVIMS is ragging free zone and students can get all information regarding the Institute in its website. Students should also focus their attention on personality development and become physically, mentally and spiritually strong enough.
The Principal of SPMC-W Dr M Hanumantha Rao has said that the College is second women’s medical college in government sector and students should not feel any kind of stress during their course. He administered the pledge by students.
Dean Dr Srinivasa Rao, Dr Sivakumar, Dr Kalavat, Dr Vasudeva Reddy, Dr Ramasubba Reddy and Dr Subhadra spoke on the occasion. Other faculty of SVIMS also took part.
