JNTU-K physical directors meet organised

​Kakinada:  The JNTU-K physical directors meet organised at university premises  alumina auditorium on Monday under the aegis of Sports Council of the university. JNTU-K sports administration director prof. K Abbayya presided over the meet.Interccollegiate tournaments secretary; G. P. Raju submitted his report to the meet.

Participating as chief guest university rector prof, K Purnanandam asked the physical directors to create more awareness to students on physical fitness. He also advised the PDs to initiate, measures to tap talent in sports and games among the students.

University registrar, V V Suba Rao suggested to the PDs to concentrate on teaching Yoga and meditation to the students.

On this occasion momentous were presented to medal winners at  All India Inter University meet at Chandigadh, MSV Tejeswani and  R Arun Kumar who represented  JNTU-K at the meet. Programme directors,  professors of various departments PDs from various affliated colleges attended.
