AP Govt will interlink rivers: Chandrababu Naidu
Guntur: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the government will interlink Nagavali, Vamsadhara, Krishna, Godvari and Penna rivers to make the state drought-free. He inaugurated DVC Hospital constructed at a cost of Rs 11 crore and Sangam Dairy modernisation works to be taken up at a cost of Rs 28 core at Vadlamudi in Guntur district on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he reminded the services rendered by the late Dhulipala Veeraiah Chowdary as a Revenue Minister. He further stated that 100 beds hospital constructed for farmers and the poor is useful to render better medical services to them.
He said that Pattiseema project water helped the Krishna Western Delta region in Krishna and Guntur districts to solve the irrigation water problem. He explained the steps taken up by the government for the welfare of the farmers.
He appreciated MLA D Narendra for constructing the hospital to render medical services to farmers and the poor. MLA D Narendra said that aim of the constructing hospital is to render medical services to the poor at low cost.
