Jagan vows to redress potters’ woes
Visakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra continuedon 248th day from Kondakarla junction of Yalamanchili Assembly constituency in Visakhapatnam districton Tuesday.
The rally started from Achutapurammandal and the leader spent his day in the surrounding villages. The Yatra passed through Kondakarla junction, Haripalem junction, Timmarajupeta and reached MunagapakaBrick unit via PeddapaduCross Roads in Achyutapuram Mandal.
Some people belonging to pot-making community met Jagan at Haripalem and appealed him to grant pension for the handicraft workers from 50 years onwards. Jagan had spent significant time with the pottery community people and he also worked with them in making clay pots. He
also assured them to solve their grievances.
During the Padayatra villagers of Pittavanipalem alleged that during TDP regime there was no development in their villageand pointe out various issues to Jagan.
The villagers also urged him to construct a new bridge on river Sarada after YSRCP coming to power in the state. Jagan had completed 2,831 kms on his foot after reaching to Munagapaka junction as part of PrajaSankalpa Yatra.
Jagan had tweeted and congratulated badminton player PV Sindhu for winning silver in Asiad games. He also wished success to the Indian contingentin future.
