Mangalagiri Railway Station gets new look
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Tourism and Culture Department gave a facelift to Mangalari Railway Station with colourful paintings, Kalamkari art designs and other beautiful portraits.
The tourism department took the initiative in this regard as the Mangalagari Railway Station assumed significance since the nearest location of Amaravati has been selected for new capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Now the state government painted the walls in the railway station by depicting the portraits of culture and heritage. The tourism department took permission exclusively from the Ministry of Railways for this purpose. The whole premises of the railway station was decorated with beautiful paintings. The railway station would be rededicated to the public on Wednesday.
