Nagasuri, Srimannarayana to receive AP govt’s award today

Tirupati: Former Director of Tirupati All India Radio (AIR) Station and present Director of Regional Academy of Broadcasting and Multimedia, Hyderabad Dr Nagasuri Venugopal was selected for AP government’s ‘Telugu Bhasha Visishta Puraskaram’.

He was one among the 18 recipients of the award and the list includes Eenadu School of Journalism Principal M Nageswara Rao, Dr J Satyavani, Garapati Umamaheswara Rao, Dr Jakkampudi Sitharama Rao, Nadendla Srimannarayana and others. Among them Nadendla Srimannarayana belongs to Chittoor district. 

The recipients to receive the award at a function to be held at Tummalapalli Kalakshethram in Vijayawada on August 29 on the occasion of ‘Telugu Bhasha Dinsotsavam’ which is celebrated every year on Gidugu Ramamurthy birth anniversary.
