Training classes for journos begin in Guntur
Guntur: Minister for Information and Public Relations Kalva Srinivasulu has said that the state government is giving top priority to the journalists’ welfare.
He addressed a meeting held on the occasion of inauguration of training classes for journalists under the aegis of AP Press Academy at the ZP Conference Hall here on Tuesday.
He said that the government had set up control rooms and responding to the scrolling telecast in the TV channels. The government was responding to the news items published in the newspapers.
He urged the journalists to write anti-government items also. He hastened to say that before they write the news items, they crosscheck for credibility. He said that society would respect media, if they write facts in society.
Minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anand Babu said that information was more powerful weapon in society and urged the journalists to use their pen power to solve problems in society.
Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao was also present.
