Rich tributes to Nandamuri Harikrishna

Tirupati: The TDP district cadre condoled the demise of former Minister and party Politburo member Nandamuri Harikrishna here on Wednesday. The TDP leaders and activists wore black badges expressing grief over the death of Harikrishna in a ghastly road mishap in the early hours of Wednesday near Hyderabad. They offered flower tributes to the portrait of Harikrishna.    

Tirupati MLA Suguna, TDP district youth wing president Sridhar Varma, party city president D Bhaskar Yadav and other party leaders have expressed grief over the death of Harikrishna at Town Club Centre. Likewise, Telugu Nadu Student Federation district president Anand Goud and Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) students have jointly organised a condolence meeting for Harikrishna in front of the varsity administration building.

Kadapa: Leaders of various political parties have condoled the death of TDP Politburo member Nandamuri Harikrishna, who was killed in a road mishap on Wednesday. Government Whip and Rajampet MLA M Mallikarjuna Reddy, PCC Vice-President N Tulasi Reddy and TDP functionaries have garlanded the portrait of departed leader.

Speaking on the occasion, Mallikarjuna Reddy said Harikrishna strove hard for strengthening the party from grassroots level. Tulasi Reddy recalled that Harikrishna is the only leader in the TDP, who had submitted resignation to his Rajya Sabha membership in protest against injustice being meted out to the Andhra Pradesh during the bifurcation.
