Jakkampudi students selected for Krishna District Rugby teams

Vijayawada: Students studying at Zilla Parishad High School, Jakkampudi JNNURM colony in Vijayawada Rural mandal have been selected to Krishna District Rugby teams.

According to high school headmaster P Uma Maheswara Rao, G Mary Kumar, K Ashok Kumar and R Siddhartha were selected to boys sub-junior team.

J Dhanushka, B Hepsi were selected to girls' sub-junior team.

Uma Maheswara Rao further said that these teams would participate in inter-district Rugby sub-junior championship, which would be held at Atchyuthapuram in Visakhapatnam from September 7 to 8.

He appreciated Physical Education Teacher Sri Latha for encouraging students in sports.
