Palle Raghunatha’s wife passes away
Anantapur: Former Minister and Government Chief Whip Palle Raghunatha Reddy’s wife and Sri Balaji Educational Institutions Correspondent Palle Uma Devi (56) died because of ill-health at a private hospital in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Ministers Nara Lokesh and Kalva Srinivasulu, actor-turned MLA Balakrishna paid tributes to Palle Uma and consoled Raghunatha Reddy.
She’s the second daughter of Rami Reddy and Anantamma of Sodanavapalli village in Singanamalla mandal. Her son Venkat Krishna Kishore, daughter-in-law Sindura, granddaughter Manisha Reddy, grandson Vinay Reddy were left in grief with the death of Uma Devi. She was always behind Raghunatha Reddy’s success.
She rendered services to poor students by giving free education and created employment to many people. She played a vital role in developing Puttaparthi Assembly constituency.
