Veda Sabha conducted in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Veda Sabha, an annual event, was conducted at Sri Sai Balaji Towers in Sitampeta here on Friday, under the aegis of Sri Bharadwaja Veda Sastra Parishad.

Scores of Vedic pundits and others participated in the annual programme where vedic hymns were chanted and vedic scholars briefed about the importance and greatness of Vedas.

Addressing the gathering, Mahamahopadhyayulu Viswanadha Gopala Krishna and Chirravuri Srirama Sarma said that Vedas were part and parcel of our life. 

They are a genesis to many great things. Everyone should learn vedas and put their efforts to spread vedas which is the need of the hour.

Lord Narayana blesses those who honours vedic pundits.  Conducting of veda sabhas was a good thing and they advised participants to conduct the sabhas twice in a year.

Later, Veda Sastra Parishad founder Bhamidi Subramanyam felicitated the pundits. 

The pundits Duvvuri Surya Prakasa Somayajulu, Kadiyala Sitarama Chandra Ghanapati, Gadepalli Ramanavadhani, Indraganti Suribabu, Kurella Srinivasa Sarma and others were present.
