YSRCP Kakinada LS incharge set to leave party

Kakinada: In what could be seen as a major setback for the YSRCP, Kakinada Lok Sabha incharge of the party Chalamalasetty Sunil is all set to leave the party. He has been keeping away from the party works for the past few months and could officially leave the party very soon.  Sources said the working style of a close relative of YS Jagan, who is playing a key role in the party affairs in Kakinada, is said to be the reason for Sunil’s exit.

Sources said that while his leaving of the YSRCP was certain, it is not clear as to whether he would join the Jana Sena or the Telugu Desam Party. He is said to be holding consultation with his supporters.

Sunil had contested as an MP from Kakinada on Praja Rajyam ticket in 2009 and on the YSRCP ticket in 2014, but lost both the times. He is said to be exploring if joining Jana Sena would be worth it. His close associate and industrialist Gopi is said to be pressurizing him to join the TDP.
