Akhilesh bags first prize for developing app in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Akhilesh Kumar Boddada, second year B Tech student of Petroleum Engineering of Indian Institute of Petroleum  and Energy, Visakhapatnam, participated in the Pixel Run Appathon organised by Pixel Run in association with Nasscom 10000 Startups Vizag, Symbiosis Technologies, Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society, Hello Vizag, Quinces 360 Media, Vizag Startups and  Ticketfrnd.  

He received a cash award of Rs 20,000 from MP K Hari Babu. 

All the 13 teams have given a task to come up with innovative ideas within a specific time of 36 hours in which Akhilesh Kumar Boddada and his team innovated an automation app e-College comprising various modules which take care of comprehensive requirement like attendance, notice board and funds.  

On the occasion, Prof VSRK Prasad, Director, faculty of IIPE, Visakhapatnam, congratulated him and wished that he would cross many more milestones in future and bring laurels to IIPE.
