3 felicitated by Tata Rao Kala Vedika in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Gutam Tata Rao Kala Vedika under the aegis of its president Dr Gutam Swamy felicitated three personalities in connection with Gutam Tata Rao's 88th jayanthi celebrations held at government college here on Saturday evening.

Noted writer, ‘Kala Ratna’ Dr Bhusurapalli Venkateswarlu was honoured with Gutam Tata Rao Vista Sahitya Puraskaram. 

All India senior announcer Dr Bandi Satyanarayana honoured with Dr Gurram Dharmoji Rao award who is rendering meritorious service for the development of Telugu language.

Senior journalist and Sarikotta Samacharam weekly editor Bhamidipalli Veera Raghava Rao was honoured with 'Kala Sahitya Bandhu' award for his efforts towards the development of Telugu language and literature.

Central Sahitya Academy member ‘Kala Ratna’ Sikhamani said everyone should remember their parents though they elevated to many heights in their lives. 

Telugu is a great language when compared with other languages and was termed as Italian of the East.

Noted literary critic Phani Nagewswara Rao presided over the programme.

Later, Sannidhanam Narasimha Sarma released a book written by Gutam Swamy. 

Dr Karri Rama Reddy, government college Telugu department chief Dr M Sudhamayi and many others were present.
