Gudipati Harikrishna was honoured with Ghantasala Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award-2018

Vijayawada: Well known singer Gudipati Harikrishna was honoured with 'Ghantasala Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award-2018’ jointly by Ghantasala Sangeeta Samsmarana Kalapeetham of Machilipatnam and Gantasala Gana Sabha of Hyderabad here on Saturday. He was honoured for his services in imparting music.

Founder president of Gantasala Ganasabha Dr KV Rao said the organisation was continuously encouraging singers of classical music and light music and film song and honouring them with awards since 1980. 

He said that Harikrishna was well-known singer of Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao songs and he organised about 10,000 Ghantasala Musical Programmes across the two Telugu speaking states.

Veteran journalist Turlapati Kutumbarao, BSNL DGM, Chinnamaraju, AGM Motilal, DE Umamahesh, Harikrishna family members, BSNL employees and others were present.
