Students of Chaitanya School contribute for Kerala flood victims

Bhimavaram: In a touching gesture, the students of Chaitanya School here donated for victims of rains and flash floods in Kerala. They sent supplies of food and other articles for the hundreds of families which lost their homes in Kerala.

The school principal, V Krishnam Raju appreciated the helping nature of their students. He said that it was good for the students to care for the people in need apart from regular studies. Charity is the best quality the students should acquire right from their schooldays.  

Teachers who helped the students buy things necessary for the homeless in Kerala opined that their students proved that they exhibited sense of social responsibilities when someone direly in need of help. The act of the students was worth emulating. The students, after contributing, also approached people and sought help for the victims of Kerala.

In that way they gathered many things that would come to the rescue of the people in flood-affected state. The principal said that they were sending the consignment to Kerala state. Teachers and students participated in the programme.
