Gym trainer ends life, wants Pawan at funeral
Vijayawada: In a tragic incident, a 29-year-old gym trainer Komaralli Anil Kumar, of Pezzonipet in the city, committed suicide by hanging at his residence after writing a note seeking attendance of his favourite hero Pawan Kalyan at his funeral on Monday.
The issue came to light on Tuesday when the police shifted the body to the government hospital for the postmortem. He was suffering from depression for the past few months.
According to police sources, he had committed suicide due to family disputes and his wife also went to her parents’ home recently. According to Satyanarayanapuram police, Komaralli Anil Kumar committed suicide after writing a letter asking his favourite hero and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan to attend his funeral.
He was working in Talwalkar's gym in the city and ended life at his residence located near RCM Church. The police recovered a letter from Anil Kumar, which disclosed that he was a diehard fan of Pawan Kalyan and could not see him when he was alive.
In the letter, he wrote that Pawan Kalyan was his brother and family member and he should come to see his body and it was his last wish.
He further said Pawan Kalyan should lead his funeral rites. “I could not see you when I was alive and I am dying. I hope you will come," he wrote.
Circle inspector P Kanaka Rao said Anil Kumar committed suicide due to family disputes and they noticed a letter in which Anil Kumar said that he was a fan of Pawan Kalyan and he should attend the funeral.
