Kadapa: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) vice-president N Tulasi Reddy said both YSRCP and TDP have no moral right to rule the state as they were responsible for looting public money in various methods.

Speaking at the meeting of party leaders from Chakrayapet and Vempalli mandals at Vempalli on Wednesday, Tulasi Reddy people of the state, particularly farmers, had been suffering a lot for the last four-and-a-half years of TDP rule as the government had no clarity on addressing their problems.

He said YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy had failed in doing justice to his role as Leader of Opposition by not highlighting the problems of people either in Assembly or in Parliament by boycotting both of them while spending most of his time in criticising the state and the Central governments during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra (PSY).

The Congress leader said there was political instability both at the national level and in state as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu were more concerned about retaining power than focusing on solving the problems of people.

Under these circumstances, he said the people were waiting to vote Congress into power at the Centre as well as in the state. He called upon the party leaders to strive hard in highlighting the failures of the state and the Central governments at grass-root level to bring Congress to power in 2019.

Pulivendula constituency party co-coordinator M Narasimha Reddy, Vempalli, Chakrayapet  mandal leaders V Ramanjaneya Reddy, .A Subba Rayudu A Chinna Obul Reddy, V Subrahmanyam and others were present.
