Startup camp helping talented youth in Bhimavaram
Bhimavaram: “The State and Central governments are extending their support to the youth to bring out their creativity and talent to transform them into businessmen and entrepreneurs.
Startup India Andhra Pradesh Yatra Boot Camps will benefit them,” opined Startup Yatra Team head Amit Sarma on Tuesday.
He was the chief guest at the workshop at SRKR Engineering College here.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that this boot camp was started by Prime Minister Narandra Modi at Delhi and the same was launched at Andhra Pradesh by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on August 23, 2018.
He said that these camps would bring out creative skills from the engineering students.
He said that on September 11, the workshop would be organised at Visakhapatnam and they would support the students with innovative ideas to establish startup companies, he explained.
He said that Naidu would present awards to students with innovative ideas.
The college principal Dr G Parthasarathi Varma said that the students of the college had started 14 startup companies and another 34 projects were ready.
Incubation centres and technologies centres would be helpful to the students, said the principal.
