Take measures to check dengue, malaria: Collector AMD Imtiaz Ahmad

Guntur: In-charge Collector AMD Imtiaz directed the officials to take precautionary measures to check spread of dengue and malaria in the district.

He addressed a meeting held at the Collectorate with district medical and health, Panchayat Raj and municipal officials on Wednesday.

He directed officials to conduct awareness programmes with the cooperation of DRDA, MEPMA and other organisations. 

GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar said that the GMC identified 17 areas in the city and conducting awareness programmes to check spread of malaria and dengue and conducting anti-larva operations. 

DMHO Dr Yasmin was also present.
