Nord Drive Systems to hold road show today

Visakhapatnam: PL Muthusekkar, Managing Director, Nord Drive Systems, said that Nord Drive Systems Private Limited in association with the Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation is organising end-users service conference and road show here on September 7 from 6.30 pm onwards. The event is open for questions, presentation, display of working models and live demo.

Germany-based Nord Drive Systems manufactures safe geared motors, gear boxes, drives for various applications in conveying, material handling and processing operates in various sectors like food and beverages, pharma, chemical, logistics and warehousing, airports, construction, infra, textile, steel and cement, Muthusekhar said.

Nord India is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Nord Germany with 12-year operations in Pune and supplied close to 2,00,000 units in the country and are enhancing product life cycle management and give more life to our products and look for energy saving opportunities and introduce the industry 4.0 versions and corrosion resistant products. Visakhapatnam is large base of end- users particularly in pharma, chemical, food and steel sectors chosen for end-users’ conference and road show, Muthusekhar added. 

Speaking on the occasion,  M Sudhir, Vice-Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation, said that the programme would  be useful for the engineers, who are working in  pharma, food and beverage, port, material handling, steel and metals and logistics.  Middle and senior level executives from plant operations, maintenance and purchase department could be benefited a lot with the conference, he added.
