Meet to check cattle movement to be held next week in Kakinada
Kakinada: The Kakinada Municipal Corporation health authorities initiated measures to check the movement of stray cattle on roads in Kakinada.
The presence of cattle on roads is often resulting in accidents to vehicle riders apart from others.
According to municipal health officer Dr Y Ananta Kumar, a meeting of all concerned would be conducted next week to check the movement of stray cattle.
Apart from traffic police, cattle owners and animal lovers besides municipal authorities would attend and go for an amicable solution to this problem.
“On our part, we are ready to provide a site to shelter the animals,” the MHO said.
“As multiple problems arising out of the movement of cattle on roads, we are making all out efforts to settle the issue amicably,” Dr Kumar added.
