Necklace donated to Goddess Durga by Chalumuru Venkateswara Rao Charitable Trust in Vijayawada

 Vijayawada: The members of Chalumuru Venkateswara Rao Charitable Trust headed by its president Ch Govindam Divya Bhavani donated 241 grams necklace worth Rs 10 lakh to Goddess Kanaka Durga here on Friday. 

They were accompanied by Avinash, Aditya, Srikanth Shivani, Venkata Hemanth, Bala Sridevi, Geetanjali family members. 

They said the necklace was received by the temple EO V Koteswaramma in the presence of public relation officer S Achutaramaiah and others.

The temple Vaidika Committee members announced that during Dasara festival time from October 10 to 20, tickets for all special pujas would be put on hold. 

Tickets for performing special Dasara festival pujas of Chandi Homam and Kunkumarchana would be given from October 10 to 18 and the date of selling the tickets would be announced shortly, said the committee members.
