AP Tourism Development Corporation hailed for creating awareness on Andhra foods
Anantapur: District Collector Veera Pandian has lauded the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) for creating awareness among modern generation on healthy food habits of yester years by organising 'Andhra Food Festival'.
Addressing the participants and organisers at Hotel Masineni Grand here on Sunday, Pandian stated that the food items displayed at the stalls were healthy food stuff of grandmother times. The food stuff of the older times are highly nutritious and wholesome food to the body.
The modern fast foods which the youth are exposed to are harmful to health and are responsible for diabetes and hypertension. Joint collector Dilly Rao said that Andhra cuisine is famous in the world over and many love the homely dishes and eateries of Andhra. APTDC regional manager Gopal also spoke.
