Bandh to hit normal life in AP

Vijayawada: In response to the Congress’ bandh call, life is likely to be affected in the state. Many private educational institutions have already declared holiday on Monday in view of the bandh.

With TDP also extending support to the bandh, the APSRTC is unlikely to operate buses in the morning in Vijayawada and other parts of the state in view of the protests by the Opposition.

In Vijayawada, Congress cadres have planned to take out a rally and start protests from the party office at 8 am. PCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy and other senior party leaders will join the bandh.  The Congress is determined to make the bandh a success and asking the traders to down the shutters till 2 pm.

Congress leaders in all districts of the state will stage protests condemning the rise of petrol and diesel prices. Left parties and affiliated organizations like DYFI, AIDWA, CITU, AITUC and others are extending support for the bandh. The CPI and CPM leaders have declared their support for the bandh and released statements in this regard.
