Employees met Minister Sidda Raghava Rao for regularisation of jobs in ongole
Ongole: The Prakasam district unit of Andhra Pradesh Rural Development Employees Welfare Association met the Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology, Sidda Raghava Rao in his office on Sunday and requested him to bring their issues including demand for regularization of jobs to the notice of the state government.
The association district president, B Narendra Kumar, secretary V Lazar, vice-president G Ashok and others explained the minister that they were working in the government service since 2002 through Velugu project.
They said that in these 16 years of their service, they helped the public to utilise the schemes through 24 departments as per the directions of the government.
They asked the minister to see the government to regularise the Velugu employees, fix the cadre and implement pay scale, give promotions, increase salaries and allowances by 50 percent and give compassionate appointments to their family members.
