Palle to institute gold medals

Puttaparthi: Government Chief Whip and Puttaparthi on MLA Palle Raghunatha Reddy Monday said that he would institute gold medals for the students of JNTU, AKU and PVKKIT in memory his late wife Uma under the auspices of Uma Foundation and a special trust. He would set up a statue of Uma in his college and also set up a museum.  

Reddy was speaking at the ‘Vaikunta Samaradhana’ of Uma. Several speakers broke down after witnessing a video and audio on the life of Uma. Among those present were Palle’s family members, relatives and voters from the constituency.
