Red Hat Day celebrated in Chirala

Chirala: The correspondent of St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology in Chirala, S Lakshmana Rao said that they celebrated Red Hat Day on Tuesday.

The college principal Dr P Ravi Kumar said that the Red Hat Academy partnered with only eight colleges in India and SACET was one of the proud partners. 

He said that the recognition helps their students in technology upgrading and skill development. 

He added that the students can take Red Hat certification courses and decrease the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. 

He said that the department of computer science and engineering celebrated the Red Hat Day for the first time in the college in association with the Red Hat Academy. 

Red Hat Academy manager Nityanand Panda said that if the students learn by experience, they would not forget the concepts. 

He suggested the students to see their experiences in a positive way and get solutions to problems by differently thinking.

The college and the academy held various competitions as part of the Red Hat Day celebrations and presented prizes to the students.
