Lokesh to open Statestreet HCL Services at Medha Towers today
Vijayawada: IT and panchayat raj minister Nara Lokesh will inaugurate the Statestreet HCL Services (SHS) at Medha Towers in Gannavaram on September 13. The SHS will create over 960 jobs in IT sector of Amaravati.
Amaravati has attracted several IT companies over the last two years. Multiple verticals of IT companies, including services, product companies, global in-house centres and research companies have been establishing their units in Amaravati. The Statestreet HCL, a joint venture company, which provides financial services, is addition to this growing list.
Statestreet Corporation, an American financial services and bank holding company, is one of the largest asset management companies in the world with US$ 2.78 trillion under management and US$ 33.12 trillion under custody and administration.
HCL Technologies Limited (Hindustan Computers Limited), an Indian multinational technology company, is specialist in software services business. The joint venture firm’s extended operation centre will starts operating from Medha Towers, Gannavaram, Vijayawada on September 13 and IT minister Nara Lokesh will formally inaugurate it.
