Murali Mohan smells rat in sudden warrant
Rajamahendravaram: Lok Sabha member Maganti Murali Mohan said that they would demand they also be arrested if Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in the wake of a non-bailable issued by a Maharashtra court, which asked them to appear before it on September 21 related to a protest on Babli project eight years ago.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Murali Mohan said as an opposition leader Naidu along with MLAs went to Babli project site to register their protest against the project and to protect the interests of Telangana state. He said later Maharashtra government shifted Naidu and MLAs to Hyderabad by a flight and said no case was registered against them.
Expressing doubts over sudden decision of the court, the MP said predictions by actor Sivaji that Centre was going to implement ‘Operation Garuda’ against the state government may be coming true. He warned that TDP family and the people of Andhra Pradesh would not tolerate if anything happens to the Chief Minister. MLC Adireddy Appa Rao said TDP cadres and leaders were ready to stage Jail Bharo protest if necessary against the attempts to take revenge against Naidu.
