Vijayawada: Sharply reacting to the non-bailable warrant issued by a Maharashtra court against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas, APSRTC chairman Varla Ramaiah, MLC Y V B Rajendra Prasad, senior advocate and TDP leader Gottipati Ramakrishna Prasad and other leaders alleged that conspiracy was the main reason behind the non-bailable arrest warrant.

Speaking to media persons here on Friday, they said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy had conspired to defame Naidu.

MP Kesineni Srinivas said that Prime Minster Narendra Modi's jealousy was the reason behind the arrest warrant. He alleged that warrant was issued in the wake of United Nations inviting Naidu to deliver a guest lecture on organic farming as the main motive was to prevent him from attending the international meet.

He said that BJP president Amit Shah and his team members could not digest the growing popularity and image of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu internationally. Stating that Maharashtra government made an announcement towards withdrawal of cases in the past, he questioned how now the arrest warrant was issued.

APSRTC chairman and senior TDP leader Varla Ramaiah demanded that the judicial authorities withdraw the arrest warrant against the Chief Minister. He asked the authorities as to how they issued arrest warrant to a leader who was seeking justice to Telangana.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to take a revenge on Naidu for questioning his role in Godhra violence in the past, he said and questioned the silence of TRS on the issue.

TDP leader and senior advocate Gottipati Ramakrishna Prasad questioned as to how the warrant was issued without issuing summons. He said something fishy was going on behind the arrest warrant.

MLA Jaleel Khan said that the people would teach a fitting lesson to Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the Centre should give notices to Vijay Mallya, if the BJP leaders have guts to take action against fraudsters.

MLC Y V B Rajendra Prasad said that the BJP top leadership appears to be taking a revenge on Telugu people. He said the Prime Minister wants to stop Chandrababu Naidu to get honour from United Nation.
