Amaravati: In a reaction to the non-bailable arrest warrant given to TDP president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, party senior leader and Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu lambasted the BJP leaders for harassing good leaders in the country and helping financial fraudsters to leave country.

In a press release on Saturday, Yanamala said they issued arrest warrant against Naidu as he was fighting for the wellbeing of people of Andhra Pradesh and demanding solutions to their problems. He alleged that the BJP was adopting vindictive politics as Naidu was demanding implementation of promises made in AP Reorganisation Act, he said.

He accused the NDA government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of harassing good and popular leaders in the country. At the same time, they were doing collusive politics by joining hands with corruptleaders such as YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the state. He blamed the Central government for allowing financial fraudsters like Vijay Mallya, Neerav Modi and others to leave the country contrary to their claims of controlling corruption and recovering block money.

Ramakrishnudu said that Naidu along with 74 MLAs, MLCs, MPs and others protested in Maharashtra against construction of Babli project on Godavari river. If they construct this project, then the interests of north Telangana people would be at stake hence the TDP demanded to stop it, he said. The TDP aimed to protect the interests of Telugu people, wherever they live on the globe, he added.

As the TDP emerged as strong political party in both Telangana and AP, the BJP and Narendra Modi were resorting to cheap politics, he added. He said the BJP was doing collusive politics against  the TDP and its alliance in Telangana and as part of it, they brought this case again after 8 years.
