Go to villages, see progress: Somireddy to YSRC leaders
Nellore: Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy criticised the YSR Congress leaders asking them to visit villages for witnessing progress. They should not confine themselves to towns for conducting media conferences. He participated Grama Darshini programme at Vallur village in Muthukur mandal on Sunday.
The Minister said public representatives who are confining to party offices and criticising always others are not eligible for politics. He dared them to visit villages and watch what the Government had achieved. He said improvement in the state is historic and no one can point their fingers against government.
“People who criticise us should be ashamed of their attitude. We have spent crores of rupees for development of rural areas. You cannot stamp us as corrupted as people know what we had done. We also criticise others, but sensitively and by not using abusive language,” said Chandramohan Reddy.
He said Sarvepalli MLA Govardhan Reddy and his aides are using such derogative language while attacking him, TDP chief and his son for each and every thing. He said even though he was defeated in the last polls he has been with the people for resolving local problems. He distributed land possession certificates to the local people and also participated in a programme at Chuttugunta.
