I did not receive any arrest warrant: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati: In an interesting development regarding the non-bailable arrest warrant issued by the Dharmabad Court in Nanded district in Maharashtra, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he did not receive any such arrest warrant till date.

Speaking in Assembly on Short Duration discussion on implementation of AP Reorganization Act, he said that he did not receive any communication from the court as the news surfaced from last couple of days.

At the same time, he said that he will discuss about the issue with concerned officials and will take appropriate legal action on it.

He said that he was arrested by the Maharashtra police in Andhra Pradesh boarder but not in that state. At that time the Maharashtra police said that there was no case against the TDP leaders and deported them to Hyderabad on a special flight. But now, all of sudden the news came that the court issued non bailable arrest warrant. 
He said that construction of Babli project was illegal. He explained that it was a project within the limits of SRS project on Godavari river. The north Telangana farmers will be at looser end after completing the project, he added.
