World Ozone Day celebrated

Tirupati: AP Pollution Control Board (APPCB), Tirupati, Regional Science Centre (RSC) and District education department have jointly organised World Ozone Day in a grand manner in Tirupati on Sunday. On this occasion drawing, essay writing, team quiz and open house quiz  competitions on “protecting Ozone” were held.  

Prof PV Ranganayakulu of SV Museums delivered a lecture on “Ozone – new thinking”. Delhiswara Rao of Science Centre, Vijayawada, District Science officer Neelakantaiah, A Narendra Babu of APPCB, Wing Commander Reddy, RSC Coordinator R Manigandan and others took part.

A rally was held on this occasion in which students of various degree colleges and schools participated. It was flagged off by TUDA Secretary R Madhavi Latha.
