Akruti 2018 reflects innate talent in students
Ongole: The Ongole Public School in Mangamoor road organised a humanities expo in the name of ‘Akruti 2018’ on Sunday and Monday. The expo was inaugurated by the chief guest and first additional district judge RJ Viswanatham while the tribal model village was inaugurated by the guest of honour and additional superintendent of police in regional vigilance and enforcement office, M Rajani.
The expo was full of displays dotted with performances from children of Classes Nursery to Class X. The projects exhibited by the students related to languages, history, culture and arts received acclamation from the guests and visitors. The guests appreciated the management, staff and students for giving them a wonderful experience and showcasing the daily chores of tribals in the model tribal village. The Dhimsa dance, Tholubommalata, Bhuvana Vijayan, Cultures across globe enthralled the spectators.
The school principal, G Kavitha Latha remarked that the expo helped the students to have a better vision of past and how the world was evolving throughout the time and imbibing the cultural tolerance. The school secretary and correspondent, N Kranthi Kumar appreciated the students and staff for putting up a fabulous show.
