Sarpavaram police create awareness on online frauds

​Kakinada: The Sarpavaram police conducted awareness on online cheatings and thefts in residential colonies in 50th division of Kakinada corporation limits in Rajendranagar and SBI Colony late on Sunday evening.

Circle inspector DS Chaitanya Krishna requested the residents to arrange CC cameras to know the movement of unknown in the area. He urged them to provide information to police for security in case they were leaving home for more days. 

The CI advised the residents not to entertain fake calls seeking bank account details, OTP number and other details of ATM account promising updating of particular account. Residents of SBI and Rajendranagar, office-bearers of welfare association, Sarpavaram SI Vijay Kumar, police staff attended.
