Will strive to place SVIMS in top 10

Tirupati: SVIMS Director Dr TS Ravikumar asserted that they were striving hard to place the Institute in top 10 medical institutes in the country.

Speaking at the orientation programme held for the new entrants into MD, DM and MCh courses for the year 2018-19, he said that the SVIMS has been progressing well and attained distinction not only as a good medical institute but also as a good teaching hospital.

He advised the newly admitted doctors to know the vision, mission and values of SVIMS and provide treatment at lowest possible to cost and win their hearts. 

All the students would be taught patient safety, code blue and quality. He also released ‘Resident Manual’ on this occasion. Dean Dr Srinivasa Rao disclosed that every research scholar would be given Rs 50,000 towards research and everyone should make use of it.

They should also extend their services compulsorily at SVIMS for one year after completion of their course. Dr M Hanumantha Rao, Dr BCM Prasad, Dr Narendra, Dr B Vengamma, Dr Alladi Mohan and Dr Sivakumar also took part.
