Farmers demand better price for produce

Kakinada:  The AP Vyavasaya Karmika Sangam, affiliated to BKMU demanded that the government provide better prices to farm produce and agriculture loans to all eligible tenant farmers.

Addressing a meet organised at Garikapati Raja Rao meeting hall here on Wednesday, CPI East Godavari unit secretary Tatipaka Madhu said that small and tenant farmers were facing lot of problems because of the policies of both state and Central governments.

The BKMU general secretary, Nakka Kishore, AITUC district secretary Kirla Krishna and others spoke.
