Guntur team bag winners trophy at Kotappakonda

Guntur: The teams of Guntur School Games Federation bagged the boys and girls winners trophy  in the  AP State SGF & CM Cup under - 17 years  Kabaddi  Championship held  at  Sri Trikoteswara Swamy Zilla Parishad High School at Kotappakonda in Guntur district on Wednesday.
  
The boys Guntur district team defeated Kurnool team with 43-24 and bagged the the winners trophy. 

Kurnool district team bagged the runners cup. West Godavari got the  third position.
 
In girls  category, Guntur defeated Prakasam  (32-14) and  won the winners cup  followed by the  Prakasam  and Srikakulam.

Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao SAAP chairman Dr P Ankamma Chowdary,  AP PETs Assn president Kareemullah Chowdary, District SGF Y Chiranjeevi distributed prizes to the winners. 

The tournament organising  secretary Chinnaramaiah and M Subba Rao were among those present.
