CM inagurates Nagaravanam in Tirupati, participates in rally
Tirupati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inagurated Nagaravanam near Kapilatheertham, which has many specialities to attract visitors in Tirupati on Saturday. It was established with RS.23 crores in 153 hectares and having skywalk over trees and various other features.
Speaking on the occasion, CM said the government aimed at taking the green cover to 50 percent which was only 33 percent now. After reaching Tirupati one hour behind the schedule, he left to Nagaravanam and unveiled the plaque there. He also planted saplings in a bid towards environmental protection and increasing green cover in the city.
He later proceeded to participate in a green Tirupati rally which started from NTR circle and will proceed to public meeting venue at Municipal grounds near Alipiri. Before addressing the public there, CM will inagurate digital door number system which is first of its kind in the State. Minister N Amarnath Reddy, MP Dr N Siva Prasad, MLA M Suguna, ZP Chairperson S Geervani, Collector PS Pradyumna and others were present.
