Chandrababu Naidu to inaugurate digital door numbers in Tirupati today

Tirupati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate digital door number system in Tirupati on Saturday. Such a system is being introduced for the first time in the State.

Disclosing the details of the Chief Minister’s visit to the media, Chittoor District Collector P S Pradyumna said that the programme was planned during the Chief Minister’s last visit to Tirupati on August 31 when he inaugurated Sri Venkateswara Institute of Cancer Care and Advanced Research (SVICCAR).

He said that digital door number system was very unique and one can use it for any purpose. It helps in finding the location very easily through GPS and one can use it for any purpose. 

For instance, if one needs medicines, he can send his digital door number to the medical shop and they can deliver the medicines easily at their home. In most cases, ambulances find it difficult to find the correct address and with digital door numbers that problem may be overcome. The Collector said that the Chief Minister will also inaugurate mass plantation programme at Nagaravanam at Kapilatheertham Circle.

Later, he will address a public meeting at Municipal High School grounds near Alipiri. A massive rally will be organised from NTR Circle to the public meeting venue in which the Chief Minister will participate. 

Collector Pradyumna reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit with officials and inspected the works at the public meeting venue. After the public meeting, the Chief Minister will leave for Kurnool.
