Ganesh immersion today, tomorrow in Kakinada

Kakinada: The Ganesh Idol immersion will be taken up for two days in both Kakinada rural and urban areas on Saturday and Sunday.

According to Nagara Ganesh Utstava Samiti  honorary president  Dusurlapudi  Ramana Raju, the  immersion will be at  Balagangadhar Tilak  premises in salt creek near Jagannaickpur  bridge  in  city and at Vakalapudi and Suryarao Peta beach areas in Kakinada rural.

In this connection, Ramana Raju said that the necessary arrangements were being made by the authorities.  These include sanitation, lighting, traffic and other arrangements.

In this connection, Ramana Raju appealed to various Ganesh  Utstav Committees in the city and suburbs to take up the procession  and immersion early in the evening without waiting till late mid night hours.

 Ramana Raju appealed to the authorities to declare Saturday as holiday for the schools to mark Ganesh Idol immersion.

He said that the Utstava Samiti making necessary arrangements on its part for smooth conduct of the entire immersion programme in both rural and urban areas.
