Two students drown in fish pond in Baptla

Two students who went fishing pond for swimming drowned in the tank in Bapatla town on Sunday. 

According to police, Uppala Sai, 13 and his friend Karasani Manikanta, 13 went fishing pond at Hussain Nagar in Bapatla town. The landowner converter farm pond into fish pond. Due to the excavation of the sand in the pond, crater developed in the fish pond. As soon as they entered into the fish pond, they fell in the pond.

Unable to swim, they fell in the tank. Locals who noticed the incident, they tried to rescue them, their efforts were in vain. Police pressed swimmers and retrieved their bodies. They residing at 14th ward in Bapatla town and studying seventh class in a government school in Bapatla town 

Police registered the case and took up investigation
