Vizag to host Breast Cancer Awareness Run on Oct 27

Visakhapatnam: Model-turned-actor Milind Soman and fitness freak stated that women should come forward to take fitness challenges to lead a healthy life. 

Milind was in the city to promote upcoming “Vizag going Pink,”  a programme on India’s Breast Cancer Awareness Run to be held at Beach Road in the city on October 27. The theme of the run is to raise awareness about breast cancer in women. 

Addressing media here on Monday, Soman expressed her delight at how the event created space for women across the cities to come together as a community and extend support to the country’s largest running event dedicated to women. 

The event being organised jointly by Spatian media and United Sisters Foundation (USF), is expected to draw a huge crowd of supporters and volunteers and runners. Interested can enroll themselves in the run to be held in three categories 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km on the beach road.
