TN CM offers prayers at Tirumala, meets V-P

Tirumala: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami offered prayers in the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara on Tuesday. The Chief Minister of neighbouring state took part along with his spouse in the predawn hour long Astadalapada Padmaradhana Seva of Lord Venkateswara. Earlier on his arrival, he was welcomed by TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal.

Later, he was offered Vedasirvachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam by vedic pandits. The TTD EO offered him Theertha Prasadams and laminated photo of Lord Venkateswara.

TN CM arrived at Tirumala on Monday evening and offered prayers in the temples of Sri Varaha Swamy and Hayagreeva and stayed for the night in Tirumala. Later, when media persons met him, he declined to speak on political issues related to his state. On his meeting Vice-President M Venkaia Naidu, he said that after coming to know about Vice-President staying in Tirumala, he made a courtesy call.
