Schemes for the poor to be given special interest says RDO GV Satyaveni

Gudivada: RDO GV Satyaveni said that all the welfare schemes implemented by the government should reach the beneficiaries who were below poverty line and the officers should take special interest in implementing the schemes.

She participated in a workshop on Wednesday at the MPDO office and spoke to the special officers of Gudivada, Pedaparupudi, Pamarru, Nandigama and Unguturi villages. 

She said that the state government was introducing various welfare schemes to support the below poverty line families and the officers should help them grow in all aspects. 

She said that the officers should feel it as an opportunity to help the poor and provide drinking water, electricity, medical facility, sanitation and other infrastructural facilities. 

She said that if there were any problems in discharging the duties they can bring to the notice of superior officers and resolve the issues.

 Land will be allocated at all the villages for Nutri-Gardens and to dump garbage to prepare manure, she added.

She further said that as per the instruction of the district collector Thunderbolts alert Sirens will be provided at all the villages, said the RDO.
