Last date for NMMS exam extended till October 5

Vijayawada: The last date for applying for the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination is extended till October 5 and the last date for payment of fee is October 6, according to the director for examinations AV Subba Reddy.

He said that the eligible candidates from government schools can apply for the examination and the teachers should mobilise the students for applying to NMMS examination. He informed that they have to apply for the examination online through www.bseap.org or at the District Education Office. 

Earlier, the last date announced was September 27. It has been extended till October 5 now, said Reddy. The National Means – cum - Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) offers Rs 12,000 per annum from Class VIII to Class XI for total of 4 years to the merit students who qualify NMMS examination.
