Rs 12.3 cr sanctioned as concessions for industries: Prakasam district Collector

Ongole: Prakasam district Collector Vadarevu Vinay Chand announced that he has sanctioned Rs 12.3 crore to various industries as concessions and allowances. He participated in the District Industrial Promotion Committee meeting held in his camp office and took the decision.

The Collector said that he cleared 30 claims and granted Rs 6.15 crore as investment subsidy, Rs 3.2 crore as 25 paise interest reimbursement, Rs 2.4 crore as reimbursement of electricity charges, Rs 44 lakh as reimbursement of taxes, Rs 8.3 lakh as reimbursement of various duties. He asked the DIPC members to process the remaining claims by October 10, to encourage the industrialists.

The DIC GM, Anand Kumar, electricity SE Subbaraju, LDM Venkateswara Rao, DTC Subbarao, APIIC GM Narasimhrao, APSFC senior manager Kamalakar Rao and other officials also participated in the meeting.
